The method consists in mixing: between 25% and 55% methacrylic resins, between 1% and 20% antisettling agents, between 1% and 20% dispersants, and photoluminiscent elements comprising between 30% and 60% rare-earth-activated active strontium aluminates. In addition, between 1% and 20% solvents and, optionally, between 0.5% and 10% of colour pigments are added to the mixture. The initial mixture is produced in a homogeneous powder mixer without any particle breakage and, after the first mixture has been left to rest for 12 hours, the final mixture is produced in a variable speed mixer. Finally, filtration is performed to eliminate ferrous particles and to obtain a photoluminiscent product that can be applied to aggregates in order to maintain the external appearance thereof and to be luminescent during the night. |
