Disclosed are a novel glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase gene and use thereof. Specifically disclosed are: a nucleic acid having the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 1, 4 or 8, the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 3, 6 or 11 or the nucleotide sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 7 or 12, and a mutant of the nucleic acid; and a protein having the amino acid sequence represented by SEQ ID NO: 2, 5 or 9, and a mutant of the protein. |
