<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic system and method for processing a three-dimensional ultrasonic screen image and measuring the size of a concerned object. <P>SOLUTION: The ultrasonic system includes: a user input part for receiving input information for setting at least one seed point in a two-dimensional ultrasonic screen image from a user; an ultrasonic data acquisition part for transmitting ultrasonic signals to a subject including a plurality of concerned objects, receiving ultrasonic echo signals reflected from the subject to acquire ultrasonic data; and a processor connected to the user input part and ultrasonic data acquisition part for forming volume data by using the ultrasonic data, forming the two-dimensional ultrasonic screen image and a three-dimensional ultrasonic screen image by using the volume data, detecting at least on concerned object corresponding to the input information from the three-dimensional ultrasonic screen image, processing the detected concerned object and measuring the size of the three-dimensional ultrasonic screen image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
