<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a password input device, capable of preventing shoppers from forgetting to extract their cards, without displeasing them, and to provide a control program therefor. <P>SOLUTION: The password input device includes: a card reader part for reading data of a card; an input unit for input of a password; and a communication means communicating with an information processor for executing information processing using data read from the card and an input password. The device includes: a display device for displaying various information; a detector for detecting a card inserted to the card reader part; a time counter for starting counting of a waiting time in response to reception of a notification from the information processor; a display for displaying a message on the display device in response to the start of time counting of the time counter; and an alarm for emitting an alarm sound indicating that the card is left inserted to the card reader part, when the card is detected by the detector at the end of counting of the waiting time in the time counter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
