<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation monitoring device that reduces a workload in switching software relating to an operation monitoring screen. <P>SOLUTION: The operation monitoring device is provided with an object model management means interposed between a graphical user interface means and a script means. The object model management means handles a standard object model formed by describing an operation monitoring screen according to a predetermined rule. The script means causes the standard object model to operate as a target object model.
