<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder for automatically mounting a supply tape, cutting a cover tape, and then appropriately treating the cover tape, and reliably taking out electronic components from a takeout position, and to improve a rate of the operation of an electronic component mounter by using the feeder. <P>SOLUTION: The feeder includes a carrier tape for housing electronic components and a tape chute for making a supply tape including a cover tape for covering the carrier tape travel, a drive means of moving the supply tape to a takeout port for taking out the electronic components, a cutting means of cutting the cover tape, an outer housing unit provided outside the tape chute where the cut cover tape travels, and a forced fall-down means that is provided at the outer housing unit to forcibly fall down the cut cover tape obliquely. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
