<p>The invention relates to a mandrel including: a body (8); tightening jaws (22) having an inner thread; a central part (2) pivotably mounted relative to the body and comprising peripheral teeth (6) and a front portion having a peripheral thread engaging with the inner thread of the jaws; a radial locking means supported by the body and comprising a locking pin (28) movable between a locking position, in which the locking pin engages with the peripheral teeth (6) of the central part (2), and an unlocking position; and a tightening ring (33) that can generate the rotation of the body (8) relative to the central part (2), the tightening ring having a relative angular movement in relation to the body, between a first (unlocking) position and a second (locking) position. The radial locking means comprises a support (25) that is rotatably fixed to the body (8), and the locking pin (28) is pivotably mounted on the support in such a way that it pivots between its locking and unlocking positions.</p> |
