The ring (4) has a chamber (7) filled with incompressible fluid and comprising a lead (8), where outer radius of the ring is variable in a reversible manner. The lead is arranged at stampers (9) for pressurization of the fluid, where the outer radius of the ring is larger in an activated operating mode than in a ground state. A deformable outer ring (12) is limited outwards by the chamber in a radial direction, and a hollow-cylinder-shaped ring is contactably arranged around the outer ring along entire circumference and made of friction-resistant material. An independent claim is also included for a method for changing outer radius of a bearer ring.
