PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for opening/closing an engine hood of construction machinery, which opens the engine hood at two stages, and which enables the engine hood to be automatically and surely supported at both the first and second degrees of opening. SOLUTION: This structure 20 for opening/closing the engine hood 14 includes: the engine hood 14; a stay body 42 for supporting the engine hood 14 at the two stages, that is, at the first and second degrees of opening; and a guide rail 44 which is provided in the engine hood 14, and which is formed with first, second and third guide grooves 44a, 44b and 44c moving in the state of having a part thereof engaged together with the turning of the stay body 42.
