PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable safe and efficient heating only by placing a heated object such as a pan on an appropriate position and perform proper heating corresponding to the size of a cooking utensil when various cooking is performed by making full use of cooking utensils of varying size. SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes: a plurality of combustion heating parts 10 arranged and dispersed in an entire cooking range 1S on a top plate 1A without unevenness; an operation display part 20 enabling input of an operation signal of the combustion heating parts 10 by display of operation switches 22; support position sensing parts 30 each arranged on the periphery of the individual combustion heating part 10, supporting a bottom of a supported body M to form a combustion space S on the combustion heating part 10 and sensing the position of the supported body M supported; and a control part 40 controlling the combustion heating parts 10 and the operation display part 20 based on sensed signals from the support position sensing parts 30. The control part 40 includes a heating range setting means selecting the combustion heating part 10 to be heated from the plurality of combustion heating parts 10 based on the sensed position of the supported body M and setting a heating range.
