The invention relates to a method for hoisting or lowering a blade for a wind turbine. The blade is hoisted or lowered by the use of hoisting equipment, which is placed inside the hub of the wind turbine. The blade is being locked into a position in which it points downwards along the wind turbine tower (2). The method requires replacing ordinary stay bolts with longer ones. A carrier member (14) is placed inside of the hub on the bearing plate. Two winches are arranged on the carrier member (14) to control the lowering of the blade. Root brackets (19) with the chain connection (20) are fixed to the blade root. A roller fixture (15) is adapted around the root wire (12) and a hook (16) is attached to the chain. The blade is lowered by operating the root winch and the sling (22) is mounted on the blade tip bearing point. The blade is tilted from its vertical to a horizontal position by using the roller fixture (15) and by operating the root winch (10). And by operating both winches the blade is lowered to the ground, a truck or anchored ship just below the blade. |
