The bracket (1) has a straight base area (2), L-shaped angled end areas (3, 4), and recesses (5, 6) provided in the respective end areas. Projections are engaged to a housing for an electronic circuit in the recesses in a clipped condition, where the bracket and the housing are coordinated to each other, such that the housing is held in a rotation-free manner in the clipped condition. The base area is designed in a longitudinally-extended manner for mounting the bracket at a fastening surface, and reinforcements are formed at a side of the base area. An independent claim is also included for a housing for an electronic circuit.
