<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting diode unit capable of preventing deterioration or damage in an LED chip or a phosphor. <P>SOLUTION: The manufacturing method includes a step of supplying a precursor solution containing an organic metal compound to a package substrate for placing an LED chip and heating the supplied precursor solution to form a first glass body, thereby sealing an electrode of the LED chip with the first glass body, a step of solidifying the molten glass drop, thereby forming a second glass body on the first glass body, and a step of forming, on the surface of the second glass body, a phosphor layer in which a phosphor for converging a wavelength of light emitted from the LED chip is dispersed to a transparent member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
