<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biometric authentication system which cannot be traced by expanding an authentication protocol having anonymity and untraceability, and generating a key from biological information. <P>SOLUTION: A U reads biological information to generate a secret key x2 from the biological information, and generates a secret key x1 from a random number. The U generates public keys y1, y2 from the secret keys to transmits the public keys to a CA. The CA performs signing by a signature key for the received public keys, and issues an attribute certificate to the U. The U transmits a service provision request to an SP, the SP generates the secret key and the public key of itself to transmit a challenge constituted of a random number and the public key to the U. The U deforms the attribute certificate by a random number f, deforms the secret key, calculates a signature value received from them, and transmits the deformed attribute certificate and the signature value to the SP. The SP verifies the attribute certificate received from the U, and verifies the signature value. The SP confirms lapse to confirm validity of the attribute certificate and the signature value, and provides a service based on attribute information to the U on the condition of completion of the lapse confirmation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
