PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator rope detachment detection device capable of easily checking a sheave from which an elevator rope is detached. SOLUTION: The elevator rope detachment detection device has a light to be turned on when a micro switch is turned ON by moving a detection plate by which a rope to be detached from a sheave of an elevator is supported via a micro switch for preventing detachment.
