PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image having an excellent photographed state by using an object recognition technology.

SOLUTION: This image processing device includes: an acquiring portion for acquiring a plurality of images including a similar object; a face detecting portion for detecting the faces of persons about each of the plurality of images; a calculating portion for calculating at least one kind of evaluation value about the facial expression of the face of a person about each of the plurality of images; and a selecting portion for comparing the plurality of images on the basis of the evaluation value and selecting an image in which the person can be estimated to be photographed satisfactorily from the plurality of images on the basis of a comparison result.
