PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous display of adjacent display contents due to light leakage from one content to the other in a display device which selectively displays a content among a plurality of display contents including letters, graphics and so on formed on the surface of a light guide plate by supplying light beams from light emitting diodes of different colors from an end face of the light guide plate. SOLUTION: A plurality of reflecting elements that form a predetermined display content are arranged at an interval on the back face of the rectangular light guide plate, and a plurality of display areas corresponding to the respective reflecting elements are set on the top face of the light guide plate. A plurality of light sources that supply a colored light beam corresponding to each of the reflecting elements as a display light beam to each reflecting element are arranged on the end face of the longer side of the light guide plate. Light shielding slits are provided between the reflecting elements in the light guide plate to prevent a light beam formed by a reflecting element corresponding to a colored light emitted by a lit light source among the plurality of light sources from transmitting to the adjacent element.
