PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device in which appearance property of a composite filter is excellent even in a non-illuminated state of the image display device. SOLUTION: The composite filter for the front of the image display device is made by arranging, in an observer's view, an external light reflection preventing layer on the outermost surface and an electromagnetic wave-shielding material layer on the rearmost surface and by laminating, in the middle, at least a pigment-containing layer and a microlouver layer in an appropriate order and the microlouver layer and the electromagnetic wave-shielding material layer, in an appropriate direction. The electromagnetic wave-shielding material layer includes: a transparent base material; a primer layer formed on the transparent base material; and a conductor pattern layer made of a conductor composition formed on the primer layer with a predetermined pattern. The portion where the conductor pattern layer is formed in the primer layer is thicker than the portion where the conductor pattern layer is not formed. The conductor composition contains conductor particles and a binder resin. The distribution of the conductor particles in the conductor pattern layer shows that the distribution in the vicinity of the primer layer is relatively non-dense and the distribution in the vicinity of the tip of the conductor pattern is dense.
