PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rack for microscope which easily gives necessary supporting force when a column is held at a desired tilted position, and to provide a microscope equipped with the rack, further to provide a rack for microscope in which tilting operation of the column is easily performed with small force, and to provide a microscope equipped with the rack. SOLUTION: The rack for microscope freely turnably supports the supporting column on which an optical system unit is mounted around a supporting axis and holds the column in a desired tilted position, and the microscope is equipped with the rack. The rack for microscope 3 includes: a first turning regulation member 45 having an internal peripheral face 45a having a diameter larger than that of a supporting axis 3b; a second turning regulation member 52 having an outer peripheral face which has a diameter larger than that of the supporting axis and regulates the turn of the supporting column being pressurized against the inner peripheral face; and an operation member which performs an operation to pressurize or separate the inner peripheral face and the outer peripheral face by expanding or contracting the first turning regulation member or the second turning regulation member.
