PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber testing machine capable of controlling the abrasion conditions and fatigue conditions, respectively independently, and to provide a rubber test method which uses the testing machine. SOLUTION: The rubber testing machine includes a discoid member (A) for making a rubber test piece abrade, and a rotating means for rotating the member (A); a rotating means for rotating the rubber test piece, and a pressing means for pressing the rubber test piece onto the member (A); a discoid member (B) for fatiguing the rubber test piece and a rotating means for rotating the member (B); and a pressing means for pressing the member (B) onto the rubber test piece. The rubber test piece is pressed against the rotatively-driven member (A), and the member (B) is pressed against the rubber test piece, to thereby have a function for measuring the abrasion characteristic of the fatigued rubber test piece.
