PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable engine power generator retaining strength of a side wall while reducing weight. SOLUTION: Above a fuel tank 7, a handle 9 is laid over an upper surface of a right side wall 5 and an upper surface of a left side wall 6. The respective side walls and a flange 7a provided on a side surface of the fuel tank 7 are fastened at a front end part of the right side wall 5 and left side wall 6. An end part of the handle 9, the flange 7a and the respective side walls are fastened together. A front leg part is formed in a linear shape. The handle 9, the fuel tank 7 and the respective side walls are fastened together without mounting the handle 9 to a ceiling plate of the fuel tank 7, thereby, a reinforcement material of the fuel tank 7 is not required and it is made to light weight as compared with a conventional one.
