PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair with a seat having stand-up mechanism in which attaching work of a backrest to a leg is made easier. SOLUTION: The chair 1 includes a seat 2, a leg 4, and a seat rocking support means 7 attached to the leg via a leg side bracket 5 to rockably support the seat between an almost horizontal using position and an almost vertical standing-up position. The chair 1 includes a mold-formed backrest 3, a bracket 3c integrated to the backrest is connected to the leg 4 to fix the backrest to the leg, an engaging hole is formed in the leg 4, and the bracket 3c of the backrest is engaged with the engaging hole to provide a temporary holding member 3d to temporarily hold the bracket of the backrest.
