<p>A paper shredder with a slidable cover safety mechanism comprises a paper shredder head (1). A paper-shredding port (3) is provided at the top of the paper shredder head and is a default paper-entering location. A paper-shredding cutter (7) is mounted below the paper-shredding port. Furthermore, the paper shredder comprises a cover (5) that is provided at the top of the paper shredder head in a slidable manner. A paper inlet (6) is formed between the cover and the top of the paper shredder head and communicated with the paper-shredding port. A guide roller assembly (41, 42) for guiding and feeding the paper is arranged at the top of the paper shredder head. According to this invention, the paper can enter into the shredder not only in a vertical direction, but also in a horizontal direction. The shredder has high convenience and safety, and can effectively prevent phenomena such as paper jam from occurring.</p> |
