PURPOSE: A rock cutting method using water-jet is provided to reduce transfer of blasting vibration to the outside and minimize outbreak since a cutting surface(a cutting line) is formed before blasting. CONSTITUTION: A rock cutting method using water-jet is as follows. A plurality of holes(H) are formed on rock. A nozzle unit and a shaft are inserted into the hole. High-pressure water is supplied to the shaft moving back or forth the shaft and nozzle unit. The high-pressure water is sprayed through the nozzle unit to cut rock around the hole in the length direction of the hole. The shaft is rotated at a given angle and the spraying angle of the high-pressure water sprayed through the nozzle unit is changed by the given angle.
