<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular member capable of exhibiting the excellent shape retentivity of an elastic layer which has such a shape that the outside diameter of a central part in the width direction is larger than those at both ends in the width direction and has such residual strain that the residual strain of the central part in the width direction is smaller than those at both the ends in the width direction when pressure is exerted on the elastic layer from the outer peripheral side, and then the pressure is released, and to provide an electrifying apparatus, an image forming apparatus and a method for producing the circular member. <P>SOLUTION: The circular member 10 includes a core body 12 and the elastic layer 14 arranged on the outside surface of the core body 12. The elastic layer 14 has such a shape that the outside diameter of the central part in the width direction is larger than those at both the ends in the width direction and has such residual strain that the residual strain of the central part of the elastic layer 14 in the width direction is smaller than those of both at the ends in the width direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
