<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporter of a top plate for a bathroom which is simple and easy to install even when the top plate for the bathroom is of a deep type, which is installed without regard to piping work, which can be removed without removing piping in maintenance or in reform, and the installing work of which can be performed easily from the front of the wall surface of the bathroom. <P>SOLUTION: The supporter of the top plate 2 for a bathroom to be provided on the wall surface of the bathroom 1 is formed of: a member 3 for mounting a top plate which is mounted to the lower surface of the top plate 2 for a bathroom along the front/rear direction of the top plate 2 for a bathroom; and a member 4 to be mounted to the wall which is fixed to the wall surface of the bathroom 1. An insertion piece 3b to be inserted from above into an insertion space S extending in the vertical direction of the member 4 to be mounted to the wall is suspended at the rear end portion of the member 3 for mounting a top plate.
