DETERMINATION OF STATE OF STATION IN LOCAL AREA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide determination of a state of a station in a wireless local area network.

SOLUTION: In the wireless local area network (WLAN), transmission signals exchanged between the station and an access point (AP) are received using a detector (Detector) located in the vicinity of the station (Station). The received transmission signals are analyzed to determine the state of the station (Station). The state of the station (Station) indicates whether or not the station (Station) has been authenticated and/or is in connection with the access point (AP) in the wireless local area network.
