<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display apparatus capable of properly correcting an image drawing position when vibration is added. <P>SOLUTION: In the image display apparatus 1, an infrared laser LD4 is installed in a laser light source unit 9. Also, a photodetector 12 for receiving the laser beam of the infrared laser LD4 is installed on the outside of the image drawing region V of a screen 11.
