The disclosed power demand-supply system (100, 100a to 100e) is a demand-power supply system for transmitting power from a power transmission source to a power transmission destination through a power system (14), and is provided with a power transmission determination means (40) for determining power transmission contents including a power transmission amount from a power transmission source; a power receipt determination means (43) for determining power reception contents including a power reception amount at a power transmission destination; a communication system (12) for performing communication between the power transmission source and the power transmission destination that is performed for matching the power transmission contents of the power transmission source with the power reception contents at the power transmission destination; a power transmission flow control means (41) for performing power transmission from the power transmission source to the power system on the basis of the power transmission contents which match according to communication performed through the communication system; and a power reception flow control means (44) for performing power reception from the power system at the power transmission destination on the basis of the power reception contents which match according to communication performed through the communication system.
