The system (10) comprises a drying medium (12) and a curing medium (14) for drying and curing a coating applied to an assembly structure in at a common station (16). The station has a hardening chamber (18), within which a drying chamber (20) is arranged. The drying medium is arranged inside the drying chamber, where the curing medium is arranged outside the drying chamber, and within the hardening chamber. An independent claim is also included for a method for drying and curing of a coating of an assembly structure, particularly a body of a motor vehicle.
