<p>The method for producing ceramic filter elements in an exhaust gas filter for combustion engines such as a diesel particulate filter, comprises impregnating a flow channel having non-ceramic support web with a ceramic slip, and then carrying and/or drying in a wound mould. A purposeful choice of the drying parameters is adjusted in different pressure losses in the flow channels of the filter elements produced by subsequent sintering. The drying is carried out of less than 10 days in a drying chamber at 10 to 90% of relative humidity, and is carried out in a microwave device.
