Techniques for an automated mashup tool include determining a local source, on user equipment, for at least one of functionality or data. A parameter of the local source is caused to be presented on the user equipment. Furthermore, determination is caused of a second parameter of a different source to be used with the parameter of the local source in an application that serves as a new source for a network to which the user equipment can be connected.
