<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk device which drives an object to be driven, without fail, by a stepping motor, regardless of the ambient temperature of an optical pickup and prevents the vibration transmitted from the stepping motor to the optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: A DSP 7 acquires data of the ambient temperature of the optical pickup 1 from an MCU 8, sets a drive voltage for driving the stepping motor, depending on the acquired temperature so as to obtain a margin for the minimum drive voltage of the stepping motor depending on the ambient temperature of the optical pickup 1, and the set drive voltage depends on the ambient temperature of the optical pickup 1 and is not constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
