<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly safe balloon catheter effectively expanding a narrow part while surely preventing the slide of a balloon part, and preventing the rupture of an outside balloon. <P>SOLUTION: The balloon catheter includes a shaft, an inner side balloon, and an outer side balloon. The shaft has an inner side balloon connecting lumen communicated from an end face on a rear end side in a longitudinal direction through the inside of the shaft to the inside of the inner side balloon, and an outer side balloon connecting lumen communicated from the end face through the inside of the shaft to the inside of the outer side balloon. The inner side balloon is attached to the shaft by an attaching part (P) on the distal end side and an attaching part (Q) on the rear end side, and the outer side balloon is attached to the shaft by an attaching part (R) on the distal end side and an attaching part (S) on the rear end side so as to cover the inner side balloon.
