ALCOHOL-AND-WATER-IN-OIL TYPE EMULSION FUEL AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SAME

Disclosed is an alcohol-and-water-in-oil type emulsion fuel characterized by comprising an alcohol and a heavy oil in a weight ratio of from 5:95 to 50:50 and further comprising water in an amount of 5-35 wt.% of the alcohol amount. By replacing at least some of the alcohol amount with a bioalcohol, a substantial reduction in carbon dioxide emission is attained. For emulsifying the alcohol, water, and heavy oil, it is preferred to use a high-pressure agitator which has a pressurizer that pressurizes the liquids and a channel through which the liquids pressurized by the pressurizer pass, the liquids pressurized by the pressurizer being agitated when passing through the channel.
