The heat exchanger is provided with a double helix-shaped wall (A) that is introduced in a cylinder (B) of two separate helical tubes (C,D). The warmer mediums are conducted in latter tube and the colder mediums are conducted in the former tube. The difference in temperature between the mediums is almost reversed. The heat exchanger contains aluminum alloy or plastic.
