Disclosed are: a resin electrode paste which can achieve the drying of a solvent contained therein rapidly after the paste is applied and which enables the formation of a resin electrode having high dimensional accuracy with high efficiency; and an electronic component having, formed on the surface thereof, a resin electrode that is produced using the resin electrode paste. Specifically disclosed is a resin electrode paste which comprises a conductive material powder, a solvent and a resin component dissolved in the solvent and is used for the formation of a resin electrode having the conductive material powder dispersed in a cured resin through a drying step of heating the paste to remove the solvent therefrom and a resin curing step of curing the resin. In the resin electrode paste, the resin component comprises a first resin having such a softening point that a solid state can be retained at a heating temperature employed in the drying step and a second resin having a softening point lower by 45°C or more than that of the first resin and having a liquid state at the heating temperature employed in the drying step, wherein the second resin is added in amount of 10 to 40 wt% relative to the total amount of the first and second resins.
