PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording and reproducing device which continuously reproduces data of a plurality of related recorded titles, without causing stoppage of video or audio reproduction. SOLUTION: In the recording and reproduction device 1, an autochanger disk drive 14 caches data of each title relating to a keyword to a memory 17, with a read delay which is shorter than that of an optical disk, and a decoder 18 decodes the data cached in the memory 17.
