<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the increase of a circuit loss in a drive circuit that is caused when a drive voltage is changed. <P>SOLUTION: The image display apparatus includes: a drive circuit for generating the drive voltage to drive a display panel, and for output of the drive voltage to the display panel; and a drive power supply circuit for supplying a supply voltage and a reference voltage to prescribe a value of the drive voltage to the drive circuit. The drive power supply circuit has: a reference voltage converter for changing a value of the output reference voltage according to a value of a control voltage to be input; and a supply voltage converter for changing the value of the output supply voltage such that the supply voltage falls or rises along with the reference voltage according to the value of the control voltage or the value of the reference voltage to be output from the reference voltage converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
