<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for displaying a vehicle perimeter image that generates a perspective image which can identifiably and properly display a three-dimensional object existing around a vehicle and additionally displays optimum drive support information in response to a driving state by automatically grasping the driving state onto the perspective image thereby integratedly supporting the driving. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus includes: a normalizing processing part for converting a plurality of images obtained from a plurality of fish-eye cameras for imaging the vehicle perimeter into ordinary images and applying normalizing processing to the converted ordinary images to produce normalized images; a perspective image generating part for generating the perspective image looking down at the vehicle perimeter from a virtual viewpoint above the vehicle; a support image generating part for generating a drive support image for supporting the driving of the vehicle; an image composite part for composing the drive support image with the perspective image; and a display part for displaying the drive support image together with the perspective image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
