PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a powder level detector which is capable of blowing air in parallel to a window while forming a channel by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: A detecting part detects powder in a powder storage part by an electromagnetic means, and a powder removing part has a plurality of sheets being stacked in layers, an air pressure source which supplies air and an air supply passage which is connected to the air pressure source and supplies air in parallel to the window. The sheet is provided with an electromagnetic means passing hole which makes the electromagnetic means pass through and with a through-hole which is provided on the outer peripheral side of the electromagnetic means passing hole. The air supply passage has an outer peripheral part which introduces air into the outer peripheral side of the electromagnetic means passing hole and a connecting part which connects this outer peripheral part with the electromagnetic means passing hole, and the outer peripheral part is so designed that it is formed by the through-hole provided in one sheet out of those adjoining on the occasion of stacking, and by the side face and/or the through-hole of the other sheet which blocks up the through-hole.
