PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling vermin especially insects, Arachnida and nematodes found in agriculture, in forest, on protection of storage products and materials, and in the field of hygienics. SOLUTION: There are provided insecticidal mixtures comprising, as active compounds, in each case two compounds selected from the series of the chloronicotinyl insecticides, especially, from imidacloprid, clothianidin, dinotefuran, thiamethoxam, thiacloprid, acetamiprid and nitenpyram, and further the use of the mixtures for controlling vermin.
