PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform refresh operations to a plurality of memory arrays of dynamic memories at appropriate timing according to temperature states. SOLUTION: The plurality of memory arrays 10 are arranged on a memory chip, and temperature sensors 20 are prepared around the arrays. A temperature information output section 40 outputs combined temperature information to the outside of the memory chip on the basis of the temperature information generated by the plurality of temperature sensors 20. A refresh command is inputted from the outside according to the combined temperature information. A refresh trigger control section 60 creates a refresh trigger which becomes a trigger for the refresh operation in accordance with the command inputted from the outside and the temperature information from the plurality of temperature sensors 20. A refresh address control section 70 controls the creation of a refresh address in a refresh address creation section 50 in accordance with the command inputted from the outside and the temperature information from the plurality of temperature sensors 20.
