PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device constituted so as to cope with such a case that the area of a semiconductor chip mounting region is narrowed by forming a part of circuits for lighting inspection, on a periphery of a display region and prevent the occurrence of inconvenience of the inspection. SOLUTION: A first circuit for lighting inspection connected to a drain signal line and a second circuit for lighting inspection connected to a gate signal line are formed on the periphery of the display region, and respective terminals connected to output bumps of a semiconductor chip in the semiconductor chip mounting region and a third inspection circuit for inspecting disconnection in respective lead lines which are connected to the drain signal line and the gate signal line are formed on the semiconductor chip mounting region.
