PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sanitary washing device capable of efficiently drying the private parts, wetted by washing over a short period of time. SOLUTION: This sanitary washing device includes a body portion 200 which is placed on the rear of a toilet bowl 600, a toilet seat 500 which is placed on the near side of the body portion 200 on the toilet bowl 600 and which has a seating surface for seating a user, a nozzle portion 20 which has a washing water jet 22 and an air jet 21, a washing water supply portion 30 for supplying washing water, a pressurized air supply portion 50 for supplying pressurized air, a nozzle driving portion 52 for driving the nozzle portion 20 so as to make it scan an injection position of the pressurized air, and a control portion 150 which controls operations of the washing water supply portion, the pressurized air supply portion, and the nozzle driving portion. The control portion 150 controls the nozzle driving portion 52 so as to changing a range of a scanning locus of the pressurized air scanned in a surface to be dried, depending on a washing water jet range.
