PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scattering prevention device preventing scattering, in driving of a polisher, by blocking a gap with a floor surface accompanied by moving direction changing operation of the polisher, and transported and stored with a minimized capacity after it is used. SOLUTION: A scattering-prevention band 1 is wound along the outer periphery of a frame band until it abuts on a bracket 16 with a tolerance without processing of a polisher body or attachment of a component thereto, and an inverted U-shaped arm 7 is detachably installed to a vertically movable mechanism 2 near both ends of the scattering-prevention band without fixation. The front and rear ends of the scattering-prevention band is detachably connected to the polisher directly or indirectly through falling-prevention band A3 and B8 respectively installed on the arm 7 and the scattering-prevention band 1 and fasteners A or C and B corresponding thereto.
