<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for switch between the active status ANs in HRPD network. <P>SOLUTION: When the switch between the access networks AN is determined, a switch process starts up, the switch between the ANs is processed, and during the switch, the data to be transmitted to a terminal is transmitted to a target AN. According to the switch process result, the data needed to be transmitted to the terminal during a switch period is transmitted to the terminal by a source AN or the target AN, thereby the continuity of service is improved.
