PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulating composte material, and heat insulating sheet, master batch and coating material therewith, which excludes gas with properties of accelerating global warming and is capable of attaining easy recycling and excellent heat insulating performance. SOLUTION: This is an insulating composite material obtained by combining zeolite having cation exchange capability and catalyst function with kaolin and boehmite. By (1) moisture absorption function of porous zeolite with a specific surface area of 180 m<SP>2</SP>/g, a function of adsorbing various things is utilized, thus attaining removal of bad smell and adsorption of a harmful material. Moreover, by (2) cation exchange function, removal of ammonium ion becomes possible and by (3) catalyst function, NOx is decomposed, thus contributing to de-toxifying of harmful material. Kaolin promotes the function of zeolite by high hygroscopicity. The boehmite prevents generation of cracking. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
