PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative apparatus appropriately decorating the surface of a metallic molding base material of a composite article integrally molded combining a resin part with a metal body. SOLUTION: The decorative apparatus 100 integrally molds the resin part on the rear face of the metallic molding base material 2 and decorates the surface 2b of the metallic molding base material 2. The apparatus is equipped with: a first molding die K1 on which the metallic molding base material 2 is disposed; a second molding die K2 clamped to the first molding die K1; a decorative film arranging mechanism 30 arranging a decorative film L provided with decoration applied to the surface 2b of the metallic molding base material 2, on the surface 2b side of the metallic molding base material 2 when clamping the first molding die K1 and the second molding die K2; a pressing means for pressing the metallic molding base material 2 to the decorative film L side from the rear face side; and an elastic material D disposed between the second molding die K2 and the decorative film L to press the decorative film L to the surface 2b of the metallic molding base material 2 according to the pressing force of the pressing means.
