PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal filter which can separate not only foreign matter of a high specific gravity but also foreign matter of a low specific gravity, and a water treatment apparatus using the centrifugal filter. SOLUTION: In the centrifugal filter which includes a filter body 10 in which an inflow port 32a and discharge ports 42 are formed, and a centrifugal force generating means which generates centrifugal force in a fluid inside the filter body 10, a space 11 inside the filter body 10 is divided into a plurality of spaces 11a, 11b, 11c by a plurality of porous separators 51, 52 juxtaposed approximately in the direction of action of the centrifugal force, and the discharge ports 42 are provided in a plural number so as to communicate with the respective spaces.
